I am a rising DIT, working mainly for local commercial feature films, TVCs and some indie films for the past few years. I also edit a few projects on the side.
My passion for cinema since I started high school has helped me familiarizing myself with certain aspects of filmmaking, including cinematography and editing. I love how lighting and framing could visually affect the whole experience of watching a movie or a short clip. As an editor, I could sit behind the screen and start being creative, just like a director or any other creative personnel. After some times working in the digital age, I realize that digital technology is tricky. That is why I choose to become a DIT or even assistant editor, to help create safe and reliable workflow for everyone, from indie filmmakers to big budget projects.
